I must be part bear, there's no other possible explanation. Is there?
Since last Monday morning's shinney, followed by (ahem) a "couple of beers" at Vern's and a 4:00 o'clock in the afternoon bed-time, I seem to have gone into hybernation mode. I haven't risen from my bed ealier than 8:00 PM in the past week, no matter what time it was that I retired to it.
This morning, though, takes the cake. I slept until nearly 1:00 in the morning.
Yes, I was late for work. Supposed to start at midnight, by the time I'd loaded my bike with hockey gear and zapped a piece of smoked meat for a quick breakfast it was 1 in the morning.
I staggered in to the office at almost precicely 01:30 hours.
Now, I like sleep as much as, if not more than, the next guy, but this is getting a little ridiculous - 12 hours up, 12 hours down might be okay for a cat (or a bear) but it just ain't right for a human being.
Is it?
