ed_rexSince I've had so little to say here of late, it seems a good idea to point you good folks towards the words of someone else for a mo'.

supergee), towards someone called Jon Carroll, who opted not to give his bride [edit: you idiot!] daughter away for quite a few very sensible reasons. Also, a nice reminder that "family" is not a one-size-fits-all word or concept.
