The beast continues to start up when requested and, in truth, is running quieter than it has in a while.
I've found religion about back-ups and am otherwise going to let it run 'till it drops (and kind of hope it hurries up - the idea of popping in a terrabyte of storage to replace 120 gigs is exciting to Young Geoffrey).
