I know, the headline is terrible and I apologize for it.

But you have to admit that cover is worth any number of terrible heds.

I suppose there's really nothing else to say, beyond offering a tip 'o the proverbial hat to io9.com.

There are a few other amusements in that gallery, though in my opinion the Nazi ... elves? dwarves? pixies? gnomes ... are the cream of a dubious crop.

Meanwhile, another time-waster for the Geeks Of a Certain Age Among Us (and those who've managed to see aging torrents or re-runs).

(And yes, a review of the latest Who special will be coming shortly, along with a critically appreciation of the mostly quite wonderful Sarah Jane Adventures. It almost requires the invention of an entirely new critical language — or maybe an entirely new language, period. I wonder if that's the same John Christopher whose Tripods trilogy thrilled me as a child?

But truth to tell I've never seen a 3-D movie in 3-D, so your guess is as good (or better) than mine. Did Up have a 3-D release?

Most certainly. But i watched it on my laptop after i had downloaded a cracked pirate torrent version xD

I thought as much, but I too saw only a 2-dimensional version acquired, er, via a "friend". :)
