I agree that sweeping Watergate under the carpet under the pretext of "allowing the country to move on" was wrong, but I hardly think Ford is the only person worth pointing a finger at. Journalistic integrity in the U.S. has been on the decline since Watergate to where the only sanctioned Iraq coverage is supposed to come from embedded reporters. a U.S. President can pardon whomever he wishes, but it's the job of reporters and moreover of the American public (I mean, if Time Magazine named "YOU" as person of the year in response to the phenomena of internet news blogging, we have at least some responsibility to keep abreast of political news) to demand the truth regardless.
