ed_rexMy father was in town and spent several hours at our humble above on Saturday. Though he has been an increasingly harsh ex-smoker over the past few years, his antipathy towards the habit has reached new levels of intensity.
After he had been here for perhaps an hour, Laura reached for her death-sticks.
"Please," my father said, "don't smoke in front of me; it's like taking a shit on the floor."
