The morning pages have seemed an unattainable peak for the past few days. I'd blame that on the hash (first time in weeks), we it not for the fact I stopped waking up and hitting the typewriter first thing before I had semi-psychedelics at hand.

Wednesday did see me cleaning, cooking and - finally - entertaining the delightful, very smart and very funny casualsexcapage, who stayed until around four in the morning and to whom I still owe an email.

But it is getting that fucking article out of the way - for better or for worse - that has freed me to post a pointless entry. Jezus, but I hate love writing.
