Lessons Learned
Jan. 7th, 2004 01:48 amMaking dinner for a beautiful and brilliant woman who you also like an awful lot is a wonderful thing; but it hurts when you find out she's dumped her boyfriend for someone who isn't you.
And you want to rend your very garments when she cuts her visit short because that someone is (suddenly, unexpectedly) in town.
Shit.
I need to learn not to take online flirting seriously.
And I need to pay more attention to my brain. I knew she wasn't interested in me "that way" quite a while ago. But she never actually said so, and so, hope sprung up like weeds in a salted garden.
More the idiot me.
