God Damn It (Yee Haw!)
Nov. 13th, 2003 09:14 amWell, I missed seing
touch_my_skin prancing on stage in fetish finery last night; and, worse, missed having a drink with her after.
In fact, for the second week in a row, I've missed doing anything at all with my "weekend". Tuesday I slept in (if memory serves - my life is becoming a blur) until after 1:00 in the (Wednesday) morning; today I arose around 4:00 AM.
But. Butbutbut ...
I'll soon be complaining about something nearly the reverse.
There was a message from my supervisor when I awoke this morning. 4 hours later, I called him and was told they're cutting back on the over-night shift. He offered me a choice of working a 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or a 4:00 PM to midnight shift.
The idea of waking up that early is frankly terrifying, but I am deadly sick of having almost no time for a social life (not to mention often sleeping through what time I have). I chose to start at 7:00 in the morning - and am now waiting to find out whether that change will start tomorrow. If it does, I should at least manage to get to sleep at a reasonable hour (but will no longer be able to hear The Voice on "The Current" - but such is life).
