I, too, have a lot of DW friends who still cross-post to LJ. Here's what I do to avoid the duplication problem.
1) Go to the Custom Friend Groups Page: http://www.livejournal.com/friends/editgroups.bml 2) Create a filter called "Default View" if it isn't already there 3) Put all friends into it, then remove those who cross-post to DW.
